Sterling Hall Guidelines  

Sterling Hall offers two rooms for your private event.  


The Kansas Room
:

4,200 square feet
and holds up to 300 guests.

Kansas Room rate Saturdays: $1,800.00

Sunday through Friday: $ 1,200.00  



The Missouri Room:

1,400
square feet
and holds up to 50 guests

Missouri Room rate: $500.00

If the Missouri Room
is booked in addition
to the Kansas Room,
the Missouri rate is $200.00.  



Rates include; tables (round and rectangular), padded chairs and white table clothes arranged to your specifications, catering kitchen, dance floor, coat room, 2 parking lots with 100 spaces, and hall clean up after the event. A floor plan must be provided no later than two weeks prior to the event date. All rentals are subject to federal, state, and local taxes.  

Room rental is for 6 hours, plus 4 hours to decorate prior to your event.  All events shall end at 12 midnight. Each additional hour is $200.00. 

A 50% Deposit is required to reserve Sterling Hall.  The Remaining Balance is due no later than the day of your event.  The deposit is not refundable in the event of cancellation.  

Skirted table clothes are $35.00 per 8 foot table.  

If candles are used as table decorations, Sterling Hall provides mirror tiles at no extra charge.  

Sterling Hall is  fully licensed to serve alcohol. 
Bar packages are available or you can bring in your own prior to the event.
Sterling Hall by law MUST provide licensed bartenders
@ $150.00 per bartender for 6 hours. 
One bartender is required for every 150 guests.

If alcoholic beverages are to be served, security guards are mandatory.  Rates are $150.00 per officer. For parties of more than 150, two security guards are required. For parties of over 250, three security guards are required.  

Smoking is prohibited inside Sterling Hall.  There is a smoking area next to the upstairs parking lot.  

A member of our staff will be present at your event.  They will answer any questions you might have.  

A refundable security deposit of $500.00 is required for all events. A staff member will do a walk through of the hall with you prior to, and after the event.  The deposit will be refunded in full if there is no damage to any hall property.  Sterling Hall will provide you with an itemized list for the cost of damages and violations.  

Sterling Hall has an onsite catering staff.  Outside caterers are permitted, and must be fully licensed to serve food.  Caterers that we recommend are listed below.
